We'll Meet Again Art Project

We have added some more super self - portraits to our display. We have now made it down to Maple Class! If you haven't sent in your

self - portrait already, there is still time to do so.

The display is still a work in progress but it is growing

We’ll meet again...

The words from this well - known song have inspired us to fill Brightwalton’s quiet school corridors with self-portraits of all the children in the school until we can all “meet again”. There will be regular updates on the school weekly newsletter as to how our display is evolving.

How can the children get involved?

  • Take a piece of A4 paper, portrait layout.
  • Ask your child / children to create a self-portrait of themselves (head and shoulders only please).
  • You can use paints, pastels, pencil crayons, felt pens – whatever you have at home that your children would like to use.
  • You do not need to paint a background as the self-portraits will be cut out.
  • For details of how to send the completed self-portraits into school, please read the original letter about this project that was sent out. A copy can be found on this section of the school website at the top of the page.

A few examples….

Finally and most importantly, have fun!
