Safeguarding

"Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play. In order to fulfil this responsibility effectively, all practitioners should make sure their approach is child-centred. This means that they should consider, at all times, what is in the best interest of the child." - KCSIE 2022

Safeguarding everyone in our community is a vital part of what we do. Everyone should read Part 1 of the KCSIE document found in the link below; the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Deputy DSL (DDSL) must read the whole document. All staff must also read and make sure they understand the Staff Code of Conduct and the other Safeguarding policies below the KCSIE link.
