Wraparound Care

We offer 20 places of wraparound care from 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday*

*subject to availability 

 

 

Monday - Friday from 8am, £4

What better way for your child to start the school day than a warm welcome, cheery smile and hot buttered crumpet from Mrs Lyford? We also offer cereals, toast with a variety of spreads, fruit and milk or water to drink.

 

 

 

 

Monday 3:15-5:15

Mrs Moore runs her very popular supper club where your children will receive a small snack and then help to cook or bake their supper in the school food tech room.

   Session 1: 3.15 - 4.15pm             

   Session 2: 4.15 - 5.15pm

 

Pupils leaving at 4.15pm will be able to take their pudding home or it will be handed to parents the next day. After they have eaten pupils help with the washing up and tidying of the Tech Room.

The cost is £6.00 for 1 hour or £12 for 2 hours.

 

Mrs Moore will then take any pupils wishing to stay on to Youth Club to the village hall with parental consent.

 

Brightwalton Youth Club

Monday 5:30-6:30 at Brightwalton Village Hall

 

Affiliated with Berkshire Youth, they offer free fruit and water and a tuck shop selling snacks, crisps & biscuits. 

There are a wide range of activities each term including football, basketball, badminton, table tennis & athletics; and each week there is a craft activity.

 

They have recently had visits from Newbury astronomical society, Newbury Fire Station and Reptile Encounters. During the summer there is often a BBQ on the field. 

 

The cost is £3.00 per session. Brightwalton Youth Club is pleased to be able to support families on pupil premium, please contact brightwaltoncommunity@gmail.com to register.

 

 

 Tuesday - Friday* 3:15-6:00, £15

Our tea club offers a daily enrichment programme including arts and crafts, group games, outdoor activities or just a quiet area to complete homework. Children who currently access our tea club thrive in our safe and fun environment where they can play, learn new skills and make new friends. Tea club is a friendly, calm and relaxing place for all children from the end of the school day/after school clubs.

Session 1: 3.15pm – 4.15pm, £5 per session.     Session 2: 4.15pm – 6:00pm, £10 per session.   Attend either or both!

Session 1 includes a small snack such as a biscuit or fruit.

Session 2 includes tea, for example soup & a roll, beans on toast, sandwiches or similar, with vegetable sticks, fruit and a drink.
