Bertie is a very lovable and enthusiastic member of our school. He lives with Mrs Lyford and comes in for 3 days a week. He is learning to help the children through his friendly nature, unconditional love and indefatigable zest for life.

Some of his favourite activities are:

• being with people who make a fuss of him
• running and chasing his frisbee in the field
• playing with Molly
• sleeping in Mrs Patterson's office
• licking someone's leg 

Molly is equally lovable and also a very calm and gentle presence in our school. She is helping Bertie to learn that he needs to be patient and obedient like she is. Molly lives with Mrs Hartley and is here for 1 or 2 days a week. Molly has a calming influence on everyone, including Bertie, although she does get excited when it is her time to play outside.

Her favourite things to do in school are:

• listening to the children read
• being stroked while the children tell her their thoughts
• chasing her frisbee
• playing with Bertie
• chilling in the office calmly watching everything that happens in the day
