Running Club is overseen by Mrs Clarke and involves learning all styles of running including long distance, sprinting and jogging. Each style of running requires different techniques. For example; different speeds of running will require different types of stride, landings and arm positions. It is important that in order to protect the body from harm, running techniques are learned to reduce the impact or strain on specific areas of the body. The correct running techniques can reduce the risk of injury.
The club operates in the Autumn and Spring Terms on Wednesday 3.15pm to 4.15pm.
