Show Jumping Team - Our First Event!

We are very grateful to the parents of our newly formed Showjumping team!  The team, comprising of Fern, Ollie, Nelly and Evie, took part in a big competition in Cirencester on the 11th September.  They were against many top schools and went on to win the 40cm Grass Roots Regional Qualifier with Fern being placed 1st and Evie 6th! In the 50cm Grass Roots Regional Qualifier, the team of Ollie, Evie and Nelly came 2nd overall and in the 60cm Grass Roots Qualifier Nelly had a clear round just outside being placed.  This is a massive achievement for such a small school competing against schools from London, Berkshire, Wilshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire.  Team Manager Mrs O’ Meara said ‘All of the riders rode their socks off and their ponies were very willing partners.  Both riders and ponies were turned out immaculately - we as parents were very, very proud and I’m sure the whole school community are too’.  We couldn’t agree more!
